Work at atelier - Pilgrimage of Goshuin

I went on Goshuin Pilgrimage with my favorite Goshuincho bukuro. Some tourists from abroad were enthusiastically making the rounds of Goshuin.

We would like to come up with ideas for upcycling made from Obidome (sash clips) and haori cords that lie in chests, and create new pieces.

This kimono was worn for the Jusan-mairi (shrine visiting at 13th birthday celebration) in the Showa period (1926-1989).

Today, we made an Amazon Kindle cover made from the Kimono from mid-Showa era.

We collected the waste cloth of Kimono and made flowers by Tsumami Zaiku for upcoming Mother's Day.
