The weather has been very unpredictable these days, with sudden sunny spells and warmer temperatures, and sudden snowfalls. This is a season to take care of your health.
Today, we upcycled several Juzu-bukuro (Buddhist prayer beads bag) that were taught to us directly by our teacher. In fact, prayer bead bags have been a hot seller in the shop recently.
We have received a lot of feedback and suggestions from users who have purchased from Himizuya shops.
The most common feedback from customers is that the half-moon shape is pretty. Not only is the shape easy to hold in one hand, but the round shape when open is also charming.
At Himizuya we sell them as Juzu (prayer bead) bags, so some customers buy one that fits the colour of their own Juzu beads, while others use them for accessories, USB flash drives, medicines and other small, multi-purpose items. We have also received some unexpectedly wonderful feedback from our customers with the pictures.
The fun part of the production process is selecting the material for the outer fabric and matching the colour and material of the lining to it. The best thing about it is that it is a one-of-a-kind combination that you can't find on the market. Unlike mass-produced ready-made items, each piece is unique, so we hope you will enjoy the upcycling experience.
We will continue to take your feedback into account in the production of our work.
By the way, recently I have seen many people visiting red seals at shrines in our neighbourhood. I'm thinking that it's time to start producing more Goshuincho Bukuro. We will be introducing more new items in the shop, so please check it out.
