Today's new item - Update to Shingenbukuro with pockets!

The days are getting warmer and longer. I spend a lot of time working on my projects and often find myself working in the evening! Sometimes it's even late in the evening.
There are only a few more days left in this month. We hope to post some of our work during Golden Week, so please look forward to it!

One of the users of Himizuya's Shingenbukuro suggested that it might be useful to have a pocket on the outside, so we immediately put it into shape.
We wanted to create a design that could not be found on the market, so we repeated many prototypes.

The most popular size is 25 cm (length) x 18.5 cm (width) x 4 cm (gusset). Originally a bag designed as a Japanese Shingenbukuro, but we have heard that some users put it inside their handbags for everyday use. We are very happy that our customers can use our artwork in the way they like to use it.

The brown of the original Oshima silk is contrasted with the darker brown of the Andon hakama fabric as an accent, creating a calm and warm tone.
An external zipped pocket allows for storage of small items.
Of course, as before, there is also an open pocket on the inside, making it even more functional and convenient to use.

Unlike today, when things are mass-produced and overflowing, this Shingenbukuro will give you a sense of a time when one-of-a-kind items were the standard. We hope you will try to have one in your own hand.
