Thank you very much for following the Himizuya blog during the past year.
We hope to continue to bring you the joy of handwork in kimono upcycling artwork production this year.
The first handicrafts of the New Year are the “Hōzuki” Otedama Balls and Drawstring Pouch using the colorful small pieces that have been collected on hand.
These were made for decoration. While we make the feelings and warmth contained in each piece into the form of otedama, we are reminded once again of the importance of taking good care of things and the gentleness of the Japanese way of life.
This year, we will continue to carefully create artwork that will soothe the hearts of those who pick up a Himizuya piece.
